Beth Pethtal to Present Program on Simple Seasonal Interior Design Sept. 14

Sunset River Marketplace, the eclectic art gallery in Calabash, N.C., will once again offer its popular Creative Exchange series of presentations, beginning on Sept. 14 with Changing Your Home To Work With the Season – Simply by Beth Pethtal. The talented Sunset Beach designer and fabricator of soft custom home furnishings will demonstrate simple ways to change out your entire home or individual rooms according to the season.

“The secret is simplicity,” says Pethtal. “I don’t have the time or energy to do it if it’s too complicated, and you probably don’t either. It’s all about using what you have or adding a simple few items.

Originally from Hickory, N.C., Pethtal moved to Brunswick County with her husband, Marvin, in 2002. After a successful career as a sales manager in telecommunications, she now pursues her passion, which is designing with fabrics. Her work may be found in many homes throughout the area.
