Class Description

I will begin the class with a demo. Your work will then start with a series of warm-up gesture drawings followed by longer poses. Working on a large 18" x 24" page will allow more room to explore the proportions of the figure and how it is constructed. Drawing the entire figure will be stressed, not concentrating on detailing of individual parts. Looking for the posture or line of action of the figure and the linkage of the light and dark areas. At the end of each session will be a critique of each artist's work.
