Beginning Drawing With Charcoal
Instructor Ruth Cox
Mondays • 2 - 4 p.m.
$80/four-week class (starts Oct. 10)

Beginning Drawing with Charcoal is a different approach to drawing, using masses of light and dark instead of outlines. This is a very simple and painterly way of seeing and drawing, which focuses on big shape and value relationships instead of detail. Taught by Ruth Cox of Myrtle Beahc, S.C., the class will last four weeks, and may lead to an advanced class if there is interest in continuing. Visit Ruth's website to see her work.
