Paper Flower Sculpture Workshop
with Mary Pappas
Thursday March 10th - from 1 pm to 4 pm
Cost is $42, including the materials and equipment you'll need.
PAPER FLOWER SCULPTURING
Nature provides us with the most pleasing colors & shapes in the form of flowers. In studying flowers we can break each one down to its individual components to create with paper beautiful, lasting blooms. During our class, you will learn how to manipulate cardstock with simple & inexpensive tools to form the pretty petals of the rose, the iris & the daisy. You'll age paper with distress ink & create & use textures on cardstock. You will fashion a coffee table decoration of old love letters, & 4 greeting cards that can be used to say, Happy Birthday, Get Well, Thank You or Thinking of You.
Please bring your own pair of small sharp scissors. All other needed materials will be provided.
I will showcase samples of how to use our paper flowers as embellishments on small gifts for family & friends.
