"Goober" was written with the assistance of students from Supply Elementary School who wrote one of the chapters for the book. A "Goober" stuffed animal was also designed following the publication of the book.
Claire does presentations for the Brunswick County schools and encourages the students to create their own writings, giving them guidance regarding having their own works published. She travels to other school systems throughout the country to introduce them to her "Harley" series.
